Saturday Mornings

Make the park a better place for all to enjoy. Weather permitting, volunteers meet most Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. – noon. Weekday volunteer opportunities are also available.

Invasive Species

Help protect Richfield Heritage Preserve from the threat of invasive, non-native plants that, if left uncontrolled, can outcompete and displace native species. Volunteers work under the guidance of the Park's maintenance supervisor to preserve the natural diversity.

Special Events

Play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the park’s events and programs, from set-up to event assistance to clean-up. Your involvement will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.

 
Bluebird Monitors

​​

Safeguard the bluebirds' natural habitat and ensure they thrive in their essential role in the ecosystem. Volunteers monitor bird boxes from March to August and make a significant impact in protecting these beloved creatures.


Scout Projects

Put your Scout training into practice and make a difference through a prospective Eagle Scout or Gold Award project. You’ll not only showcase your planning, development and leadership skills, you’ll make a contribution to the park that could be enjoyed for generations to come. Learn more.

Carpentry, Construction and Trades

Help maintain and improve the many beautiful buildings within the park. We are always seeking volunteers with knowledge in the building trades. Projects can be matched to your specific area of experience.

Share your love of nature and photography by taking pictures of the park and its events. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your skills and give back to the community.
